Our story in a few sentences

Once upon a time, there was an Elf who dared to dream big. His dream was to create a place. A place at the edge of the forest that gives peace and recharging to everyone who wanders in. So he set to work. Years later, a Fairy flew into the garden, bringing blessing and peace both to the place and to the Elf's heart. From then on, they built together the wonderful place people now know as Elf Garden - and which you can now discover too.

The Fairy and the Elf poured all the love and goodness of their hearts into the building. They stripped, sanded and painted the wooden railings one by one. Every detail was born from a unique idea. Before it became a place to stay, Elf Garden hosted uplifting programmes for years and enriched people with community experiences. There was yoga, meditation, juggling, dance and gentle music concerts. It was in this wonderful place, under the heart gate, that the Fairy and the Elf said their 'I do' - and several weddings have taken place there since. As the fruit of 7 years of shared work, the place was finally completed, and in September 2026 it opened its gates to everyone - now as a guest house.

And what makes Elf Garden unique as a place to stay?

Not the fact that it hides at the edge of a forest on the border of Budapest, far from the noise of the world, where nature, peace and calm meet. There are other similar places where you can wake to the fresh scent of the forest and birdsong. No - the magic of this place lies in something quite different: in things and extras that you certainly won't find anywhere else all in one place.

At Elf Garden, winding nooks, cosy seating corners, a fire pit, cauldron cooking and a special covered dance tent with a tatami floor await you. The garden also offers a climbing wall, a zipline, a slide and swings, so nature-close relaxation can be complemented with playful, active programmes. Complete relaxation is served by a sauna, a hydromassage tub and a massage bed, while lovers of active rest will find unforgettable experiences on the area's many hiking trails and horse-riding opportunities.

On top of all this, there is a projector in the living room, so you can enjoy presentations and/or movie nights on a huge screen, depending on why you visit. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be ordered thanks to our local providers (please let us know 3 days in advance). On cooler evenings, the fireplace in the living room makes everything truly cosy, and from the balcony you get a front-row view of the sunset.

What makes this opportunity truly unique, though, is that thanks to the Fairy's and the Elf's wide network of connections you also have access to extra programmes such as at-home massage, yoga, sound baths, women's circles, qigong classes, medicinal and culinary herb workshops, assertive communication games, horse riding and bubble workshops. What's more, almost all of these external extras are available to Elf Garden guests at a discounted price, thanks to the personal relationships and agreements with the teachers, artists and providers. How many of you can come, and for what?

The three-storey, air-conditioned house comfortably sleeps 7 and can be extended with a further 7 extra beds. This makes it an ideal choice for families, groups of friends, company teams and smaller communities - whether for team building or for dreaming up creative business projects. Thanks to all these extras and possibilities, Elf Garden is not just a place to stay. It is rather a special sanctuary where, in nature's gentle embrace, you can find silence, calm, yourselves and each other again.
