Good to know before arrival

The keys to the gate and the house are in the key safe on the gate. We send the code by e-mail the day before your arrival. On departure, please put the keys back into the key safe, scramble the dial and lock the box! In case of a lost key we charge 20,000 Ft for a lock change. Visitors may only be received during the day, with the host's permission.

Two cars can fit in the driveway. Additional cars can be parked outside the garden, in front of the entrance. Please make sure that the neighbours' access can remain free.

We have a data-reporting obligation towards NTAK, so we will need your identity documents. To make administration easier, we ask you to send them to us digitally by e-mail (ID card, or passport and address card) after you receive the confirmation e-mail. Wi-Fi is free at the accommodation.

The guesthouse is self-catering, so a well-equipped kitchen awaits: gas and electric stove, baking and cooking pots, stovetop coffee maker, kettle, toaster, tableware, microwave. Please do not put any metal-containing object in the microwave — nor a cat. 🙂 Cauldron cooking is also available in the garden. You'll find the equipment in the outdoor kitchen below.

If you arrive with a small child, a cot, high chair and small bathtub are also available for you in the basement storage.

When you have finished using the sauna, please switch it off. The extra beds are simple to use. Please do not force them - they open with a light, gentle movement.

For stays longer than 1 week we change the bed linen and towels weekly. Daily cleaning is available on request.

The cost of damage to the furnishings is borne by the renter. It is invoiced afterwards.

Please leave the place tidy and clean after yourselves. For example, no dirty dishes should be left in the sink. In case of extreme soiling we charge an extra cleaning fee (10 thousand forints)!

When leaving the room, please turn off the water and electricity, close the windows and lock the door!

It is forbidden to take the rooms' furnishings and equipment out of the house, including - for example - towels, blankets, pillows, bed linen, etc.!

If you notice any malfunction, please report it to us immediately at the contact details below. Unfortunately we cannot accept complaints afterwards.

The accommodation accepts no responsibility for personal valuables brought onto the premises. Items left behind can be collected within 1 month. After that we are unable to keep them.

We collect waste selectively:

• General waste
• Recyclables: clean paper, plastic and metal
• Compost

Please separate it too!

Smoking inside the buildings is not allowed! Smoking is permitted outside the building, in the yard and on the terrace. This applies to all alternative tobacco products too.

Before leaving the fire pit, please make sure that you have really put the fire out! Burning anything other than firewood and paper (e.g. plastic, rubber) is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!

In case of fire, start extinguishing immediately with the fire extinguisher at the marked spot and call the fire service on 112, then notify the host as well.

Out of respect for the forest and the neighbours, please do not be loud! Music should only be quiet or played on acoustic instruments; please do not use amplification! Between 22:00 in the evening and 09:00 in the morning the garden must be kept quiet.

The host accepts no responsibility for

• damage resulting from natural disasters
• inconvenience or damage resulting from network failures of utility providers

By entering Elf Garden, you accept that you are responsible for your own physical safety and that you use the garden's climbing frames, swings, slide, climbing wall, seating and other installations entirely at your own risk! Elf Garden accepts no responsibility for any injuries!

The garden is pet-friendly; the owner bears full responsibility for removing droppings. (If we do find any during cleaning, it obliges the renter to pay 20,000 Ft.) Bringing animals into the house is forbidden!

The cushions that can be placed on the pallet furniture are in the dance tent. You may also use these cushions in the tent.
